This looks very familiar. Is it Heian-jingu from the inside looking at the main entrance / exit? No matter how many photos I've seen of this, the sky is ALWAYS white. Don't you just want to strangle something?
PS I like how you caught the guy / girl in that position. There's a hint of hesitation mixed with dedication to prayer.

@Sashmo Au.go.go: It's not Heian-Jingu, it's Shimogamo-Jinja.
And, the sky is usually white in photos from Kyoto......But photos out in Shiga have a brilliant blue sky.
